Bellamy Young

Young first began her acting career in the theatre. In 1997 Young made her Broadway debut as Mary in the initial actors of The Life. In addition, she has been seen off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along (1994), and Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). In 1995, she made her TV debut with a role on The NBC daytime soap drama Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. In 1997 and 1998, she played a cameo in Law & Order, playing two parts. In 1999, she made her movie debut with a minor part in the crime drama Black and White and later was a co-star in a number of independent films. In the early 2000s, she began to be a guest star on a range of dramas on TV and comedy series, like The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Between 2000 to the year 2011, Young played in more than 30 television programs. Young was regularly cast in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. After nine episodes of a season, the show was canceled. There were recurring characters in the Lifetime legal drama series For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami from 2005-2006, and Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the eldest son-in-law in the Darling Family. From 2011 to the year 2013, she was Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds. Bellamy Bellamy Bellamy
