Summer glau

Firefly was Whedon's upcoming hit show, and it's safe to say that she created a buzz. The character of Summer Glau's River Tam was a complicated persona that Glau managed with ease. In the role of Tam she was enticed into government-sponsored experiments in which she was being trained to be the ultimate assassin. Tam's control over her emotions was weakened as a direct result. Glau was able to show off not only her acting talents, but her skills as a combat ace as a character in Firefly. The fact that she was being trained to be an assassin enabled Glau to make the most of her athletic ability. Her classical education has made her a skilled ballerina. It was her broken toe however that caused the end of her dancing career. Firefly was a one-off show but it became a massive success. Whedon came back to it after a few years. Summer Glau was still getting high-quality work throughout the interim. Summer Glau appeared on television shows such as Cold Case, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
