Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Her most famous role is the anchorperson of the CNN's At This Hour morning show. She also co-anchored the CNN on weekdays mornings New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's winning presidential election coverage from 2012. Her prior experience included working as an Washington DC based correspondent, covering each of the US House and Senate. During her membership for Capitol Hill Unit Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on the legislative cycle and other congressional activities, including talks to increase the limit on federal debt and super committee deliberations. Bolduan has worked as an associate reporter on general assignments. She covered such events such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision regarding Obamacare. She also covered the government's stimulus plans for 2009. In 2007 she was hired by CNN as a correspondent national in 2007 for CNN Newsource. As an CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she covered breaking news for the 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided features reports. She previously worked with NBC News MSNBC, WTVD-TV and WTVD-TV.
