KateKate Middleton and Prince William first came to know each other in 2001 at the time they both studied from St. Andrews. It is believed that Prince William attended the fashion show where Kate Middleton wore a transparent gown, which sparked Prince William's interest. The year 2003 was the first time they had been in a relationship. Middleton, Prince William and two other St. Andrews students were their roommates in the second year of St. Andrews. Kate Middleton started to be harassed by media outlets around the time. The result was a number of people threatening legal lawsuits against Kate Middleton, as well being her family lawyer. Their marriage had ended in 2007 in the relationship between William and Kate. But rumors continued to circulate shortly afterward about their re-union. with each other.
