Alice Englert

Alice Allegra Englert is an Australian actor and director. She also composes songs, sings, and writes. Alice Allegra Englert is most well-known for playing Rosa in Ginger & Rosa 2012 and Lena Duchannes, in Beautiful Creatures. Alice Allegra Englert (born 15 June 1994) was the daughter of New Zealand film director Jane Campion as well as Australian filmmaker Colin Englert. Edith Campion is her maternal granddaughter, as well as the director of theatre Richard Campion. Her parents were in the military, and her family was sent to various places. The actress says "I spent half of my existence on the plane." New Zealand is a place I love. That is where the really imaginative, whimsical and artistic side of our family grew up." She went to schools in Australia, New Zealand, New York City, Rome, and London in addition to some other cities in England including The Sibford School, a Quaker school in Oxfordshire.
