Alex Flanagan

She graduated from at the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. She has worked for The NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. For NBC Sports she is a reporter in the stands of some of the Notre Dame Football home matches and Football Night in America. Flanagan is watched in the cult gaming video Madden 10 and Madden 11 as host of the weekly game recap with Fran Charles. Alex is from Sonoita in Arizona. Kevin Flanagan, a former basketball player at the University of Arizona is her husband. They both have daughters. Alex's parents are the owners of Arizona steak houses "The Steak Out", located in Sonoita, and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journalistic career at the age of 18, working as an intern at KVOA-TV. She started reporting sports at the age of 1998. She has worked with NBC Sports NFL Network ESPN and Fox Sports. She was also a Gamma Phi Beta member. Following her graduation, Flanagan got her first television job. She was general assignment reporter as well as a weekend anchor for KCCO-TV in Alexandria, Minnesota. Mitchell holds a bachelor's degree in English language from the University of Pennsylvania. Mitchell began in the field of radio and television reporter for Philadelphia, KYW Radio and TV. She became a reporter for the CBS-affiliate WDVM-TV, (then WTOP), in Washington DC. In Washington, she was appointed general reporter by NBC News two year later.
